Paula Huergo

Paula HuergoSVP/Strategic Planning & Operations Officer

Paula Huergo is First Bank's Senior Vice President and Strategic Planning & Operations Officer. In these roles Paula oversees the Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Strategic Planning Departments where she effectively leads special projects and strategic initiatives.

Paula has over 20 years of professional business experience spanning various industries, with over half of them in banking. Due to Paula’s extensive cross departmental experience she brings a well-balanced business knowledge to First Bank. Since joining First Bank, she has been an integral player in employee development and customer experience initiatives among others.

Ms. Huergo earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Universidad Catolica Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and also went on to earn an AMA University Certificate in Human Resources from Mercer County College. She currently volunteers as a Clarifi financial coach for Habitat for Humanity and is an ambassador for Be the Match Foundation (National Marrow Donation Foundation).
