Jeffrey Kraft serves as Senior Commercial Banking Consultant at First Bank, based in the Summit office. He focuses on introducing and closing new deposit and loan relationships with businesses across the bank’s market, while developing comprehensive banking partnerships that include operating accounts and cash management services. Jeff also works closely with accountants, attorneys, and other professional referral sources to foster collaboration and support growth across all lines of business.
Jeff brings over 45 years of banking experience, with more than two decades dedicated to commercial banking and business development. His background includes senior management and leadership roles at several prominent financial institutions, including Summit Bank (now Bank of America), Valley Bank, and Investors Bank (now Citizens). In addition, he spent over ten years as an advisor and financing consultant to business owners and CPA firms at Whitman Advisory in New Jersey.
Outside of his professional role, Jeff is actively involved in his community and industry organizations. He currently participates in the Rotary Club of Madison, ICUNJ, the Accountants Club of America, and the New Jersey High School Tennis Officials Association, among others. He is a proud recipient of the Rotary Paul Harris Fellow award and has earned multiple coaching recognitions for his involvement in youth sports.
