Kent Fuqua serves as Vice President/ACH Certified Professional at First Bank, based in the Doylestown office. In this role, he is responsible for managing and monitoring ACH activity, utilizing systems such as PIQs to identify and mitigate risk while ensuring the integrity and efficiency of electronic payment operations. He also plays a key role in staying current with ACH rules and regulatory updates, helping to ensure the bank remains compliant with evolving industry standards.

Kent brings 36 years of banking experience, including more than 26 years leading departments focused on electronic banking services such as ACH, wire transfers, online banking, and mobile banking. He has held his Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification for 18 years, demonstrating his deep expertise in electronic payments.

Throughout his career, Kent has held a variety of leadership roles in deposit operations and electronic services, including Deposit Operations Manager and Assistant Vice President at Ambler Savings Bank, Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking Officer at QNB Bank, and Electronic Services Officer at Univest Bank and Trust. He also served as Assistant Vice President of Electronic Payments at Independence Community Bank and Assistant Vice President of Electronic Banking at SI Bank and Trust. His extensive background reflects strong technical expertise and a consistent focus on operational excellence and risk management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Brescia University.
