Anthony DeSenzo is a First Senior Vice President/New Jersey President located in Fairfield, NJ. Mr. DeSenzo is responsible for strategic development and market growth for the Northern region which includes all of New Jersey & New York. Mr. DeSenzo leads a team of 15 commercial lenders and portfolio managers specializing in C&I, CREO and investment real estate opportunities. Mr. DeSenzo is responsible for all business activities including new loan and deposit generation and portfolio management.
Mr. DeSenzo has been in banking for 35 years and has held several senior management positions in lending and underwriting. Immediately prior to joining First Bank, Mr. DeSenzo was Regional Director of Commercial Real Estate at Provident Bank. Prior to that, Mr. DeSenzo was Head of Commercial Bank/Chief Lending Officer at SB One Bank and Managing Director of Real Estate Finance at Capital One Bank.
Mr. DeSenzo holds a Bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University where he majored in Marketing and minored in Finance. Mr. DeSenzo also hold a Master’s level Professional Certification from New York University in Commercial Real Estate. Mr. DeSenzo has received numerous industry awards during his career and was recently honored as Banker of the Year by the Petrucci Organization. Mr. DeSenzo serves on the Board of Advisors for the Hope for Children Research Foundation.
