David DiStefano serves as Chief Banking Officer of First Bank, where he leads the Bank's sales organization and is responsible for driving commercial lending, deposit growth, and relationship-based banking strategies across the franchise. He is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences, fostering sustainable growth, and helping businesses, individuals, and communities achieve their financial goals.
Prior to his current role, Mr. DiStefano served as Regional President for First Bank's Northern and Central New Jersey regions, where he played a key role in the expansion and continued success of the Bank's presence throughout those markets. Earlier, as Northern New Jersey Market Executive, he led the successful integration of First Bank's first acquisition in 2014, helping expand the Bank's footprint and establish a strong market position.
Mr. DiStefano was the first employee hired following the recapitalization of First Bank in 2008. Before joining First Bank, he served as Assistant Vice President and Business Advisor at PNC Bank and held various commercial lending and credit administration positions with Yardville National Bank.
A recognized leader in New Jersey banking, Mr. DiStefano received the New Leaders in Banking Award from the New Jersey Bankers Association in 2012 and was named one of NJBIZ's 40 Under 40 in 2021.
Active in both professional and community organizations, Mr. DiStefano is a licensed New Jersey Realtor and currently serves as Vice Chairman of The Rescue Mission of Trenton. He resides in Allentown, New Jersey, with his family.
