Michael Ashworth serves as VP/SBA Relationship Manager at First Bank, based in the Denville office. He focuses on originating and closing SBA 7(a) and 504 commercial loans, while maintaining client satisfaction and building strong pipelines through business networks and COI relationships. His work supports the bank’s SBA lending initiatives and helps businesses access the financing they need to grow. Michael brings over ten years of experience in commercial banking, including his previous role as VP/SBA Business Development Officer at TD Bank. In that position, he specialized in SBA lending and developed expertise in structuring and managing government-backed loan programs.
Outside of work, Michael is passionate about continuous learning and personal growth. He enjoys reading multiple books at a time, hiking, biking, boating, and practicing mixed martial arts. He also serves as an assistant wrestling coach.
